Bio
Lavinia Fagiuoli is an illustrator and visual artist working between Milan
— in a beautiful space called Bota Fogo — and Venice, the city that holds her heart.
Her work is grounded in a lifelong relationship with drawing and in traditional techniques including painting, monotype, cyanotype, watercolor, collage and ceramics.
After a career as an international lawyer, Lavinia chose to devote herself fully to visual art. She collaborates with publishers, galleries and cultural institutions, leads workshops and takes part in artist residencies in Italy and abroad. She also works in animated short films.
